A great gift
I won a giveaway early this month from my friend Donna at Cottage Days & Journeys. It is a desk calendar of Donna's Alaskan mountain photography.
Donna's photography is stunning (visit her blog to see incredible bear and fox photos from their tundra trips!) but I was impressed with the quality of the calendar, too.
I'm not officially reviewing a Snapfish product - just passing along a good thing when I see (and happily receive) one!
And even signed by the photographer! :) Thank you, Ms. Madonna! It is beautiful!

What a neat, special gift from a friend. A desk calendar would always be welcome whereas a wall calendar's have a limited number of walls where they can be hung.

Oh, it's so strange to pull up someone's blog and see my own photos looking right back at me! LOL! I am tickled plum silly that you like and are enjoying your calendar gift. It's the gift that keeps on giving. I think I'm going to make photo calendars every year now!
I sent a calendar to my mom too, along with a copy of the Alaska book that someone else won in my giveaway. She says that she isn't peeking ahead, but will wait to be surprised for each month's photo. That gave me a giggle.

Yes, indeed Donna is a great photographer; I wouldn't know where to begin in the process of all the different things she does to each photo. I'm so glad you won! I'm glad also to read that she sent one to her mom,and what she said about not peeking. That's so sweet.
